Electrical Design Engineer - Utilities

My client is a multi utility consultant who specialise in major Electrical and Gas projects. Due to rapid expansion they currently have an exciting position for a electrical design engineer to join the department and work on utility projects across the UK.

Candidates will need to show a previous history working as an electrical engineer within the utility market; ideally candidates will have worked on electrical and gas connections across the UK and will have experience working on projects from design through to completion.

The successful candidate will require at least a HNC Electrical qualification combined with recent New Electricity Connections design experience. You should have previous Planning & Design experience, plus knowledge/experience of Risk Assessment; manual handling and environmental hazards. The right candidates will have had good experience working with DNO's independent connection providers (ICP's), developers, consultants and representatives of other professional organisations as necessary.
