Senior Authorised Person - Offshore Wind

Norfolk£500 - £600 per day

Role Summary:
Our client is one of Europe's leading developers of Renewable Energy projects with extensive expertise in generating power from Onshore & Offshore Wind Farms both in the UK & continental Europe. With construction of a major new offshore development off the Norfolk Coast underway we are currently recruiting for experienced Senior Authorised Persons / Electrical Engineer to oversee HV electrical installations to turbines, offshore substations and132 kV submarine export cables as well as onshore cable systems and new onshore substation.

Your Role:
·Lead and participate in commissioning ensuring client's operational requirements are met.
·Responsible for mechanical equipment
·You will ensure continuity between commissioning and operation
·Be fully familiar with client's emergency response plan and procedures and be able to take effective first steps in the event of an incident
·Comply with Health & Safety policy and regulations and be able to take effective first steps in the event of an incident
·Prepare and follow up of the maintenance system
·Trouble – shooter of small and large issues

Your Profile
·University degree in electrical engineering, Bachelor or Master
·Minimum 5-10 years experience from operation and maintenance. Preferably from the power or process industry
·Experience from operation of transmission or wind farm either onshore/offshore is an advantage
·Need to hold authorisation as SAP (Senior Authorised Person).
·Team building spirit and good communication skills
·Analytical thinking and result oriented
·Fluent in English both written and oral
·Emphasis on excellent HSE standards
