Project Manager - Solar and Wind

A Solar and Wind Electrical Project Manager is required in Bristol on a permanent basis for a leading solar and wind farm developer with a pipeline of over 100 MW. They have recently taken on significant investment and are growing rapidly and they now require an Electrical Project Manager to take on a challenging new role in a fast growing market.

Reporting to the Operations Manager your key tasks will be:
·Management of multi-site installations of wind turbine and solar PV systems throughout the UK
·Receive site-development pack from design team and manage project construction through to hand-over
·Site health and safety management
·Ensure parts and materials sourced and delivered to site to meet the build schedule
·Select and hire of plant for installations
·Selection and control of contractors
·Project tracking, budget control, and reporting.

To apply you should have the following skills and experience:

·Electrical engineering qualification
·Experience with MV projects, design and installation 11 & 33kV private networks and sub stations
·Knowledge of renewable energy generation, electrical systems and grid connection process
·Good understanding of the design aspects of the wind turbine and solar PV Project management qualification
·History working within an independent connection provider and have strong project management experience of wind and/or solar projects
·Managed multi-site construction projects including groundworks, structural assembly and electrical installation.
·H&S qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH
·Planning and working to requirements of CDM and other relevant H&S regulations.
·Selection and control of civil, mechanical and electrical contractors.
·Comfortable working at height and trained in WAHR

This role will join a Bristol Head office and be offered at a time when investment is new, projects are being formed and a large scope of work is due to start.
