Mechanical Design Engineer HVAC

We are currently representing a large well-established Building services consultancy who are looking to recruit for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC). Our client excels in providing a wide range of services, assisting its clients in all aspects of building engineering services. Their National network of practices has the depth and diversity of expertise needed to tackle any engineering project with confidence.

Increased workload from existing & new project wins means they are continually looking to recruit the right caliber of person to get involved in their interesting and challenging projects.

This is a key role where the individual will help lead the Mechanical Building Services Engineer function within the design group answering to the Team leader. The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and a stable work load..

Candidate profile:
Chartered Engineer or Equivalent and member of the IET and / or CIBSE.
Technically strong in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering systems with a wider understanding and knowledge of building services design

Responsibilities will include:

·Mechanical services design development and leadership on a number of projects.
·Support to the Building Services team.
·Implement QAQC procedures to ensure production of high quality deliverables to agreed standards
·Contribute to planning of workload and meeting project delivery dates.

·Liaise and interface with Global and Operational Sales to provide technical/operational support as required.

·Able to acquire security clearance
·Good awareness of sustainable design techniques and technologies used in buildings
·A specialist or particular interest in one or more aspects of building Mechanical services e.g. natural ventilation
·Good knowledge of software's such as IES & AutoCAD
