Technical Director- Renewables

About the client:

They are a global consultancy with nearly 1000 staff covering over 50 offices in all the continents. They provides global advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and
growing base of business, regulatory and governmental clients throughout the energy, oil & gas, wind, biomass and waste sectors.

They are at the forefront of globally providing a wide range of technical and professional services to the
renewable energy sector and has been developing and expanding its presence in this sector for a number of years.

They are now looking for somebody to help further develop their renewable energy sector in the UK and further afield. They are particularly looking for candidates who could drive the development of areas such as wind, wave & tidal and solar.

Candidates who have due diligence experience in this sector would be particularly welcome.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will help develop the renewable energy business sector in the UK although this
role will also need to consider and develop global opportunities for business. There would also be the
opportunity to develop and shape the global renewable energy capability.

The role would be to facilitate and develop the business sector, whilst also carrying out chargeable work within the field of their expertise. The position would report into the main board and it is expected
that the candidate would significantly develop/influence the company's UK and global renewable energy
strategy.

ABOUT YOU:

- Degree qualified and preferably Chartered
- Full UK driving licence
- Able and willing to travel extensively through out the UK and overseas
