GIS and Data Manger

They are now looking to bring on board an experienced GIS / data manager to work within their renewables team. With more than one major development under way this is a busy landscape and the candidate must be able to quickly demonstrate sound ability to both communicate and deliver core competencies - these include:


·Management and analysis of spatial datasets
·Production of maps and figures, in multiple formats, for use in presentations, reports, public consultation and project design
·Uploading of as-built data to project database
·Provide geodetic advice to project team
·Responsible for HSQE aspects for your activities


Your profile should be able to demonstrate:

·Professional experience in ESRI ArcGIS software
·Experience in the use of Spatial Analyst and/or 3D Analyst extensions is desirable
·Thorough understanding of GIS concepts and data conversion requirements
·Experience in the use and management of marine datasets
·Thorough understanding of coordinate systems and projections
·Ability to ensure data quality is appropriate for needs and accurately expressed
·Knowledge and experience of cartographic techniques
·A knowledge of Autocad would be an advantage
·Excellent organisation and communication skills
·Analytical and problem solving skills
·Attention to detail
