Project Managers Wind

Berkshire£50K - £80K per annum

As part of my client's Energy's ambitious growth plans, they are looking to recruit Project Managers to support current and planned growth within their Renewables division. They are a large operator and developer of offshore wind assets and operate on a global platform

With a commitment to build multi-billion pound projects around the coastal waters of the UK they are seeking project professionals who demonstrate high performance, pioneering spirit and a passion for continuous improvement to take the business forwards.

Outline of Role:

-Assist with the development and implementation of the project strategy, project execution plan, contract strategy and management systems for project delivery and ensure they get ownership from across Renewables, partners and the project team.

-Support the delivery of an approved capital project to the sanctioned cost, schedule and performance criteria.

-Ensure a robust culture of HSEQ is driven down through the project organisation such that works by project personnel, suppliers, contractors and partners is undertaken in an appropriate professional manner.

-Interface with package teams to ensure timely delivery of objectives and work programmes.

-Ensure accountability's and deliverables are clear across the project organisation and there is clear ownership for work plans.

-Monitor project and financial control systems to monitor project progress against target, financial management (cash forecasts and AFEs), and change control systems, enabling appropriate action to be taken in a timely manner.

-Lead the identification of risks and eliminate or implement mitigation measures. Capitalise on potential opportunities.

-Establish and implement an agreed reporting system and format to the satisfaction of project stakeholders.

-Identify and coordinate project interfaces and relationships with partners and key internal and external stakeholders.

-Participate actively in career development of early to mid career project professionals, including succession planning and recruitment initiatives to build future expertise.

About you:

-Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline.
-Chartered Member of a relevant engineering institution or project management association.
-Commercially and financially aware,
-Able to bring our the best from others within the team in a constructive manner
