Senior HVAC Design Engineer

My client whom is currently seeking to recruit a Senior HVAC Design Engineer is firmly established as one of London's major Sustainability and Engineering Practices who work across the sustainable built environment offering strategic advice to developers, owners and occupiers across all property sectors.

They have all the expertise in-house, allowing them to provide a coordinated and efficient total service for their clients & provide fully integrated sustainable design solutions for all building services from concept through to hand over and beyond.

The main duties of the role will include:

·To help lead the Mechanical aspects of projects of all sizes, from concept design to commissioning.
·Lead Mechanical teams working on multi-discipline design projects.
·Supervise and check the work of junior engineers and support their professional development in respect of engineering design.
·With the support of Learning and Development, actively pursue CPD and further professional development.
·Must have good client facing skills to continue to uphold client relationships and develop new ones.

About You:
Successful candidates will have or be experienced in the following:
·A degree in mechanical or building services engineering or similar relevant qualification and be working towards chartered status.
·Good technical knowledge in your primary discipline and a thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
·Excellent communication skills and a team-based work approach.
·You should additionally have fluent knowledge in the use of AutoCAD and IES.
·Excellent communication skills are a necessity, as this role will require building and maintaining client relationships.
·A good knowledge of BREEAM assessments is also desirable.
