Commercial Project Manager

My clients are one of the UK's largest and fastest growing solar photovoltaic installation companies, whom are seeking a commercial project manager.

The company design's and installs solar PV installations across the south-east of England across domestic, commercial and community sectors and are still looking to expand, despite changes to the government's feed-in tariff for solar PV electricity production.

About the Company
The company are looking to expand their operations in the Oxford area, which already amount to ca. 500kW. They are establishing a dedicated Oxford Office, and have a great opportunity for a solar PV system project manager, who will work alongside our Oxford-based technical director.

Role Summary
This role will involve a combination of pre-sale work that includes; (site surveying, design, quotations#, and also managing the post-sale process with relevant contractors #EPC requirements, grid connection, structural).

About you
·No prior PV experience is necessary as you will be fully trained in house, although a knowledge of PV systems or renewable's is clearly desirable.
·You must be an enthusiastic and flexible candidate, who is also willing to undertake a variety of office tasks during the company's initial establishment phase.
·You should have a keen interest in the delivery of renewable energy projects.
·Must be a computer literate and be able to understand new software packages promptly
·Highly organised and be capable of implementing office systems and project planning and implementation.
·Be able to understand the physical and electrical engineering of PV arrays
·Posses PV system design experience, which is desirable
·You should also be able to present and explain complex information in simple terms.
·Highly flexible and also willing to undertake a variety of work to make the company a success
