Solar PV Design Engineer -

Our client is a highly regarded Renewable Energy Specialist who have a strong presence in the public and private sector solar/PV marketplace with a good order book within the commercial and domestic markets.

Owing to planned expansion, the company are seeking to appoint an experienced Solar PV Designer.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the successful Solar PV Designer will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:


Working closely with the Surveying team to take initial enquiries and produce quotations and designs on Solar PV systems for private and public sector clients

Designing domestic and commercial photovoltaic systems

Providing technical expertise to the site based installation teams

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, the company are seeking an experienced Solar PV Designer who has detailed experience of carrying out Solar PV designs for the public and private sector.

They will also be well versed with working with AutoCAD software (PVSOL etc.) and possess the ability to work with electrical schematic and line diagrams.

Experience of the FIT and MCS accreditation scheme would also be highly advantageous.
