Senior Project Development Manager - Wind

Berkshire£60K - £90K per annum

Our client is one of Europe's leading renewable energy companies, dedicated to generating electricity using sustainable, environmentally friendly resources.

They have the resources and expertise to develop, build and operate high quality, commercial-scale renewable energy schemes throughout Europe. Their growing Offshore Wind Energy business has the following exciting role to offer within a major off-shore wind farm development.

The Wind farm is a circa 500MW offshore wind farm development.

The Project Manager Developer will report to the Project Director. The Project Director and Project Manager Development take leadership direction from the Management Committee of the joint venture partners.

The position will be responsible for the successful development of the Project in terms of all Project targets including:

Health & Safety Environment & Security.
Realisation of necessary consents and permissions to allow construction.
Execution of required environmental impact assessment.
Grid Connection.
Project Engineering.
Development Budget.
Preparation of financial investment decision.
Stakeholder management (internal & external).
Management and leadership of project resources.
Procurement strategy development and pre construction execution.
Commercial management of project interests.

Key Project Deliverables:

Ensuring delivery of Project consents and necessary agreements.
Developing, agreeing and delivering the Procurement Strategy.
Developing and delivering the Construction Execution Plan.
Delivering FEED.
Supporting the Project Director in taking project to FID.

Knowledge and Skills:

A Project Management professional, ideally with project management qualifications and membership of an applicable association.
Significant, demonstrable leadership and management skills.
Significant and in-depth experience of Project Management.
High level of communication skills.
Ability to identify a problem or conflict, identify potential solutions and analyse the solutions leading to a recommendation for the optimum solution.
Must have an eye for detail and good reporting skills.
Be results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines and produce clear and concise information/ options/decisions to senior management


Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and have demonstrable Wind Farm Experience
