Sustainability Consultant - BREEAM Assessor

This is an opportunity for a Sustainability Consultant to join a leading firm of multi-disciplinary consulting engineers who deliver highly innovative and tailored solutions in a wide range of markets including buildings, infrastructure, government and sustainability.

The Sustainability Consultant will be working on high profile projects, undertaking design and technical assessment work as well as project management duties. You will be joining a growing team of engineering and sustainability experts, delivering specialist solutions to a variety of exciting clients. The successful candidate will have a strong consultancy background and will be accredited in one or more BREEAM schemes and have a passion for sustainable design.

Qualifications
·Educated to at least degree level in a relevant discipline (preferably engineering)
·Experience of working within a professional consultancy (preferably M&E practice)
·Good communication and written skills
·Proven problem solving ability
·Licensed BREEAM Education assessor (or other)
·Licensed Code for Sustainable Homes assessor
·BREEAM AP

Core Duties
·Undertaking BREEAM / Code for Sustainable homes assessments
·Assisting with energy strategy reports for planning submissions
·Renewable energy technology appraisals and carbon emission calculations
·Client liaison and attendance at design team and project team meetings
·Assisting with and completing energy modeling work
·Project management
·Report writing and development of work proposals
